The Centre for Humanitarian Psychology is a branch of the Association for Psychosocial Learning in Emergencies (APLE), a non profit charity registered in Switzerland.
Its mission is to contribute to the improvement of mental health and psychosocial intervention in humanitarian contexts of conflicts and natural disasters. The development of this field requires that the professionals intervening in such emergency environments are highly skilled and well trained. The APLE supports all programs which can help improve the knowledge in the field of humanitarian psychosocial training, with a special focus on distance learning.
